Steve Hong oversees national staff development
for Epic Movement. A San Francisco native, Steve rarely talked before knowing Jesus. After
college and a few years as an electrical engineer in Silicon Valley, Steve fearfully told his
parents he was giving up the job and the free ride at Stanford to join Campus Crusade in 1993.
Leaving staff in 1997, Steve attended Talbot Seminary, pastored in both traditional Asian and
multicultural settings, then apprenticed under Dr. David Eckman, an expert in the theology of
emotions. Steve and his wife Cathy have a 2 yr-old son named Jason.
